Many people ask me how do I stay joyful & calm when adversity comes my way.
How can I stay faithful when the winds blow hard and things in life become a little shaky?
I tell them that it is because I have a great sponsor, someone who I can run to when I feel like I am about to fall.
You know how people have a sponsor who are in Alcohol Anonymous and other support groups to have them on their journey, well I had to get one too.
I really am glad that I was able to get a sponsor, because sometimes I need to call on Him when I feel like I’m about to go crazy.
The good thing is that I can call my sponsor before I make a mistake and after I make a mistake, He is always there to remind me of how great I am and He pushes me to keep going no matter what. I am so happy that I decided to become a part of His group.
If you are wondering who my sponsor is, let me tell you, my sponsor’s name is Jesus! He is the best sponsor and I am grateful that I can call on Him whenever and He is always there. He also covers my wrongs and forgives me immediately with no judgement attached. 🙌🏽
